Ensure Your Onsite Safety and Health

Informa Markets is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff. In partnership with the Anaheim Convention Center, we are establishing safety measures to give you a safe and engaging experience. Check out what standards you can expect when you arrive.

All persons planning to attend SM Expo must be registered. SM Expo is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public. Individuals who cannot document their direct, professional affiliation to the trade are not qualifies to attend the trade show.

For any special services or accommodations, you may require, please reach out to [email protected]. Kindly note that requests made within two weeks may pose challenges in fulfillment. We appreciate your understanding.

SM Expo recognizes that both professional and personal situations can result in needing to make a change to business travel. Therefore, if your plans change, substitutions are always welcome in lieu of cancellations. Refunds will not be issued for no-show registrants.

By attending, you acknowledge and accept the Badge Scanning Policy. You understand that by choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or a sponsor, you are providing the exhibitor or sponsor with your personal information and in doing so you consent to the exhibitor or sponsor contacting you in the future about their products and services. You understand that you can opt-out of this contact at any time by contacting the exhibitor or sponsor. Badges cannot be read remotely and must by scanned before any details are shared with exhibitors and sponsors.

You understand that your badge may be scanned on entry/exit to SM Expo and used in relation to event safety/security and that the event organizer may use this information in aggregate form to analyze/improve the visitor experience. Scanning at entry/exit is not associated with marketing consent choices that you make. You understand and agree that the event organizer may transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area in administering the badge scanning process and when passing information to exhibitors and sponsors.

All Expo areas are non-smoking. Anyone who wishes to smoke may do so outside of the building. We appreciate your cooperation.

Exhibitors are permitted to photograph and/or video tape their own booth. Working members of the press are required to check-in at Registration, receive an authorization badge and be escorted by Marketing in order to photograph and/or videotape at the show. No other photography or videography is permitted. Exhibitors who do not want the press to photograph or video tape their booth should inform Marketing staff onsite. Exhibitors and attendees understand that SM Expo Show Management or its authorized representatives may conduct interviews and may take photographs and/or videotape at SM Expo. Exhibitors and attendees hereby grant to Show Management and its authorized representatives the absolute right and permission to use my name, likeness, biographical information, voice, content of any interview, image and/or photograph and any other indicia of persona (“Persona”) or to refrain from doing so, in any manner or media whether existing now or hereinafter developed (including without limitation the World Wide Web and the Internet), worldwide, for trade, advertising and/or promotional purposes. Exhibitors and attendees agree that Exhibitors and attendees shall have no rights of review or approval, no Claim to compensation, and no Claim arising out of or resulting from the use, alteration, blurring, distortion or illusionary effect (whether intentional or otherwise) or use in any composite form of Persona and agree to release and hold SM Expo Show Management and its authorized representatives harmless for any and all such use(s).

SM Expo attendees hereby agree to release and hold harmless Show Management, its employees, vendors, agents, contractors, and owners from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses, of an kind (claim) which arise out of or result from attendance at and participation in the event, including but no limited to property damage and personal injuries, whether or not foreseeable.

We reserve the right to deny admission to, or remove any party from SM Expo for any reason.

Our event code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. All determinations of appropriate or inappropriate behavior are in Informa Markets' sole discretion and the decision(s) of the Informa Markets representatives on-site will be final.

SM Expo attendees are prohibited from soliciting business from other attendees or exhibitors in any of the facilities used as part of SM Expo, except when such solicitation is made by a SM Expo Exhibitor within the Exhibitor’s booth or event space, as previously authorized by Show Management.

These terms and conditions apply to visitor registrations for, and attendance at, events (each an “Event”) organized by Informa Markets (referred to as “we/our/us”), which is a trading division of the Informa Group. Your onsite safety is important to us, so we're working with the Anaheim Convention Center in conjunction with the state of California to ensure state-mandated health protocols are adhered onsite.
